Florida w/ Questions asked: I am researching starting a company that sells promotional products to local businesses - imprinted tee shirts, calendars, pens, etc. Just began my research.
Does anyone know where I can BUY the products? I assume it must be overseas places only but am not sure about that. And if so, where, exactly? Anyone know of any places? URLs? Names and cities (I will find their contact info). Thank you SO much for your help!

Tenche N asked: I talk to business owners and directors about what they are doing in the area of advertising and marketing to increase new business and retain existing business. I offer ideas, products and services to help them. My solutions are easy, affordable, and have high perception value with the general public. No I don’t sell pens with your company name and logo on them. However among my more popular marketing solutions are discounted travel vouchers used by large hotels. Please help me find a name for my company.

SellingMarykay asked: I used to be a Mary Kay consultant. I still have an inventory of more than $4,000 in retail products, plus some promotional and Section 2 items. I have look at selling then on ebay, but I’m not sure that’s the best option. Any suggestions?

M T asked: I have an idea for a promotional product (not looking to promote online though i had to choose search engine optimization). I am currently researching how the industry works and what are the steps to bring this idea into the promotional product market. It is currently simply an idea and I have yet to develop a prototype. I have no indutry background in promotional items but am dedicating myself full-time to this endeavour. Is there a high risk of a supplier or distributor of copying my idea while I’m researching the industry? I’ve been fairly secretive up till now not too release any major details since I don’t have a patent and am not too sure if a patent is viable. I am visiting a local b-to-b trade show this week. Is there any key questions that I should be asking promotioal suppliers or distributors in regards to my idea? Is it possible to manufacture and distribute your own product considering I have no background in this industry?
I thank you for all your suggestions.
