Does anyone know how much it COSTS to join PPAI??? Promotional Products Association International. Their site tells you nothing, their operators tell you nothing, their literature tells you nothing. It’s all sort of pay to apply and then if we want you we’ll tell you the cost. Um, no. I am hopeful that someone out there will know what it COSTS to join this organization.

Yes, I have called on suppliers and distributors in the industry. Have called industry trade magazines and journalists, too. It is impossible to get a straight answer.

Thanks so much.

I peeked, and their dues is calculated based on how much money you make? I think that’s crooked. It should costs what it costs, or at the very least there should be a chart to show the fees. If they’re trying to find out how much money you make, they may be getting ready to try and sell you something.

Your membership dues is based on your company’s sales volume. They have a membership dues calculator that you can use to determine your membership fees

PPAI’s dues are on a sliding scale and based on member sales volume. Membership fees are public and published on the PPAI website at. You can find a dues configurator on the site by clicking on the Prospective Member tab on the toolbar across the top of the home page.

If you need more information, feel free to call me direct at 972-258-3050. Thanks! Paul Bellantone, VP Marketing Business Development.

Hi, have you looked into alternatives to PPAI? If you are not getting the information you need there, consider the Advertising Speciality Institute (ASI). ASI is a membership network of 19,000 distributors and 3,400 suppliers of advertising specialities in North America. is the web address.

ASI has a membership designed for Canadian companies interested in supplying, distributing, or decorating in the ad specialities (aka promotional products) business, including research for under $1000US and a basic membership for less than $500US regardless of the size of your company, or sales volume. I’m happy to provide you with more information should you need it. Email me at
