Anything that people play with. Standard stuff (pens, pads, etc) get thrown away. Get a Rubiks cube with your company logo on it. Stuff like that.
in general, tee shirts, hats and pens are the most widely distributed promotional products, so we might assume they are the most effective. Of course it may depend on the context, in an event atmosphere you may have printed mugs or napkins, if you run a car wash maybe a window cleaner would be a nice item.
I belive its t-shirts or caps since everyone sees it. They are not limited to a time and place. People see it when you’re in the street, supermarket, park or anywhere. Its a 24-7 advertisement.
