I would like my campus bookstore to give out my website’s free promotional products to students when the students make a purchase. I am writing a letter to the manager, but I’m not sure how to address him. I am stuck on the first lines of the letter. Any pointers? Help? Tips?

well first what are you offering. If it is not anything unprofessional just be straight up with them….
Dear Store manager,
I am an upcoming artist and I am starting my business on campus. I have started advertising with other retailers around the campus and I would love to advertise with you. For every lead that generates from your bookstore I will donate $x.xx to your store. Thanks a bunch hope this helps…
First, make sure that you get his/her name. The letter must be personalized. I would first say something like, I first want to congratulate you on the excellent job you have done in managing the campus bookstore. Every time I come in, the store looks great and the employees are always helpful and well-trained.
I notice things like that since I have started my own business and am discovering the effort it takes for all those details to be handled properly. One of the aspects of my business plan is to distribute promotional products to advertise my website. The campus bookstore would be the ideal location for these items to be distributed for free with each purchase.
I will call you ______ to discuss the opportunity and possibly make an appointment so I can show you the program. I look forward yada yada yada
