What percentage commission do independent sales consultants (for promotional products) make?

I realize this could vary…but some idea would be great….

The one I am working with (gifts incentives) pays in the 20% range Plus a bonus. It’s really slick.
I’m an independent consultant for Purse Party. I get paid 30% commission at the time of sale and then can earn an extra 10% monthly.
